Leila Pruscino, B.S., M.A.

Clinician

Leila is a Master’s level mental health clinician with experience providing strengths-based and trauma-informed care to adults.

Leila received her Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise with a minor in psychology from Virginia Tech, and her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Boston College. Leila’s clinical focus includes anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, depression, mood disorders, and substance use-related concerns.

Since 2020, Leila has developed a diverse clinical background across outpatient private practice, school-based settings, crisis hotlines, and addiction treatment centers, supporting individuals with a wide range of behavioral health needs through compassionate and individualized care. Alongside her clinical experience, Leila is certified in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), an evidence-based treatment and first-line intervention for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and other anxiety-related conditions.

Leila is passionate about creating a warm, supportive space where clients feel comfortable being themselves and exploring both the challenges they’re facing and the strengths they already hold.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Leila’s personal experience deepened her connection to this work. For Leila, witnessing the profound impact of isolation on mental, physical, social, and emotional wellbeing reinforced the essential role meaningful human connection plays in overall health. This experience strengthened her commitment to creating spaces where people feel seen, supported, and connected, particularly during times of challenge and transition.
