Casey Burke brings nearly a decade of behavioral health leadership to his role as Program Director at Newton Recovery Center, along with a perspective few leaders can offer: he has sat in the client’s chair himself.

In recovery from his own addiction, Casey understands firsthand how mental health and substance use challenges affect every part of a person’s life, and he is a committed advocate for anyone seeking help. Over his career he has overseen multiple substance use treatment programs and launched four mental health programs from the ground up, giving him a deep understanding of what effective, well-rounded care looks like.

As Program Director, Casey oversees the center’s day-to-day operations and makes sure each client’s needs are met. He believes in meeting people where they are, whether they come to us for addiction, mental health concerns, or both, and in making sure every client leaves with the support and aftercare resources needed for long-term wellness.
