Theresa Styffe
Clinician
Theresa has been dedicated to mental health and addiction treatment since 2017 and holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology.
At Newton Recovery Center, she supports individuals and families navigating substance use disorders, mental health challenges, and the complexities of recovery. Her passion for this work is also personal: having seen addiction affect people she loves, Theresa understands the importance of compassion, connection, and breaking the stigma that so often keeps people from seeking help. She believes recovery is not one-size-fits-all and that meaningful change begins with trust, self-awareness, and genuine human connection.
Her approach is rooted in empathy and authenticity, meeting clients where they are while helping them recognize their strengths and build lives that feel meaningful. Theresa’s philosophy is simple: everyone deserves dignity, everyone has a story worth hearing, and no one should have to navigate their healing journey alone.
