Michael Green serves as a Case Manager and Intake Coordinator at Newton Recovery Center, often one of the first people clients and families connect with when reaching out for help.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychological Science in 2018, studying at the University of Massachusetts Boston and the University of Vermont, and has spent the past three years working in mental health and substance use treatment across outpatient, inpatient hospital, and PHP/IOP settings. That experience includes intake assessments, group facilitation, and hands-on case management, from connecting clients to care and securing key documents to navigating benefits such as EAEDC, unemployment, FMLA/PFML, and military retirement.

Michael has particular experience supporting people with substance use disorders, executive functioning challenges, and those experiencing homelessness, and holds training in overdose prevention, Narcan administration, and medication-assisted treatment. Committed to continually learning and adapting to best serve others, Michael takes pride in work that aims to heal and build people up.
