Jessica Grillo is the Director of Outreach for Newton Recovery Center and a person in long-term recovery.

A lifelong Newton resident who grew up in the community, Jess brings both personal experience and more than 20 years of professional healthcare experience to their work supporting individuals and families affected by substance use and mental health challenges. For the past 12 years, Jess has worked in the mental health field, gaining a deep understanding of the importance of compassion, connection, and accessible support. Their own recovery journey gives them a unique perspective and a personal commitment to helping others find hope, resources, and a path forward.

At Newton Recovery Center, Jess is dedicated to building connections throughout the community, raising awareness about recovery, reducing stigma, and making sure people know that help is available and recovery is possible.
